Environmental Health & Safety Engineer - Zotos

What we offer
Provides day-to-day guidance for all safety, health and environmental programs and processes, specifically, provide EH&S support for the development and deployment of applicable environmental and safety compliance programs. This role maintains involvement with a variety of projects requiring EH&S evaluations and direction; maintaining ownership for specified EH&S programs.
Ensures compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, EPA, NYSDEC, and other applicable regulatory agencies as requested or directed and contributes to the overall implementation and deployment of EH&S management systems.
Provides direction for various levels including management, engineering, contractors, and operations to maintain environmental and safety compliance.
Facilitates and promotes compliance strategies and requirements as well as provide assistance and guidance in safety, health and environmental matters throughout the facility by deploying programs to meet regulatory requirements.
Maintains compliance with laws, policies, codes and regulations and ensures that the facility remains current in all external reporting requirements to corporate, state, local and federal agencies
Who we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene or other Physical Sciences
A Minimum 3 years of experience in EH&S activities/responsibilities
Working knowledge of environmental and safety regulatory programs.
Ability to interpret and communicate regulatory compliance requirements to all levels
Knowledge and experience in State (preferably NYS DEC) and Federal OSHA and
environmental agency requirements
Experience with Six Sigma DMAIC approach
EPA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Materials Trained/Certified CPS or equivalent
Experience with on-site waste water treatment operations including experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, and hygienic precautions, such as hairnets, are required. The work environment is not climate controlled. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud. Regular attendance is required. Working extended hours may be required.
The position could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting throughout the day. Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
