Responsibilities:
Assist Dispatcher in answering switchboard and transferring calls throughout campus as appropriate. Providing essential services for students and staff when necessary.
Special Skills Needed:
Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person with students, faculty, staff, campus safety personnel and visitors. Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information at times. Multitasking (i.e., multiples phone lines, emergency situations, etc.). Customer service skills. General to exceptional knowledge of campus and campus locations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
